Realm of
Albion
Starting Classes: At
the start of a player's career in the Realm of Albion, they choose one
of four basic classes.
Fighter
-
Obviously by the name, this class is built for fighting with
specialties in arms and armor. Important abilities to the fighter are
dexterity, strength, and constitution.
Mage
- The Mage is more of a magician type class relying on intelligence as
their most important ability.
Cleric
- Clerics is a class who heals friendly characters. Piety and
Constitution are important abilities of the Cleric.
Rogue
Rogue
- Rogue characters are an "all around" character that relies
on quickness and dexterity. Rogues can do a little bit of
everything including fighting, disguising, subterfuge, hiding and
other non fighting skills.
Advanced
Classes: After
joining a Guild, players can choose their career path at 5th level.
Paladin
- A group based combat unit which can help teammates in combat by
using spells.
Armsman
- With the ability to use almost any weapon and armor types, the
Armsman will go to any length to win a fight.
Mercenary
- The Mercenary is a fighting unit which is able to duel wield weapons
(hold one in each hand). Though lighter defended than the
Armsman and Paladin, the Mercenary has more defensive abilities at its
disposal.
Scout
-
The classic loner unit, the scout combines hiding and movement skills
with fighting and arms skills.
Minstrel
-
The Minstrel is able to play/sing songs that proform the same effects
as a spell caster. The Minstrel can also be equipped with armor
and weapons.
Theurgist
- A magician unit able to create magical items and enhancements.
Friar
- Similar to the Cleric, the Friar is a healing unit skilled at using
the Quarterstaff.
Cleric
- A unit geared towards healing friendly characters.
Wizard
- Wizards use the elemental forces of nature to conduct their magical
spells.
Sorcerer
- A magician unit which specializes in spells of destruction, disease
and confusion. The Sorcerer is by all means a combat unit.
Infiltrator
- A "spy" unit which specializes in locks, traps, hiding and
stealth movement.
Weaponsmith
- A fighting class which is able specializes in the upkeep of arms and
armor, and, at advanced levels, can create siege equipment.
Realm
of Midgard
Viking
- Standard fighting man unable to conduct spells, but fierce at
fighting, and is capable of using all weapons and armor.
Thane/Valkyrie
- Limited in magical use, these units are greatly enhanced for battle.
Skald
-
Able to play songs on a lute that help fellow units build courage and
strength. The Skald is also able to participate in combat
equally as good as his abilities to play music.
Rogue
-
A unit that is a blend between Thief and Fighter that is able to sneak
and hide as well as perform adequately in battle.
Priest
of Odin
- Capable of using magic spells that help group combat and healing as
well as the ability to control animal's.
Priest
of Hel
- Able to summon the spirits of fallen Norse warriors to aid them in
battle.
Priest
of Thor -
Able to conduct weather and lightning spells as well as transform
himself into an animal.
Shaman
- A magical unit which gathers its powers from a Norse god.
Realm
of Hibernia
Champion
- A blend between Fighter and Mage the champion combines his spell
casting abilities with his combat skills that makes him and his realm
mates fight better.
Warrior
- A general fighting unit unable to conduct spells, however, able to
use almost any weapon and armor available.
Nightblade
- A magician which is uses spells to aid in stealth and is easily
capable of fighting his way out of a corner.
Hunter
- A fighting class of unit able to use a variety of weapons and armor,
and also conduct druidic spells.
Enchanter
Druid
- A primarily healing class of the Hibernia realm.
Eldritch
- Possibly the most dangerous magician in the game, the Eldritch
specializes in extremely destructive magic dealing with the primal
forces of nature.
Bard
- A combination fighter/magician the Bard can use a blade as well as
play songs of glory and valor.
